Description
The gazebo located in the garden of Number 29 on Castle Street is a 17th-century structure made of brick, topped with old plain tiles forming a pyramid roof. It stands two stories tall and features a single-window range, which includes a 20th-century 8/8 sash window with a cambered head above a 20th-century 9-pane horizontal casement window, both set under segmental arches. The north front has steps leading up to an 18th-century moulded-panel door. The east front and west front both have blocked openings, with the west front featuring a blocked opening under a gauged brick flat arch and a 20th-century door to the ground floor. Inside, the gazebo has a panelled dado and a corner fireplace with a shouldered wood architrave.
