Description
Jason Studio is a shop with accommodation above, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features slate hanging above the ground floor, with a slate roof that has half-hipped ends. The building has a double depth plan and a 19th-century shop front. The ground slopes steeply to the left, where there is a basement.
The exterior is two storeys with an attic and has a regular three-window front. The 19th-century shop front is located near the centre, featuring a central panelled door flanked by two three-pane windows, and a dentilled cornice above the shop fascia. There are likely 19th-century doors leading to the basement on the left side. The first floor is slate hung, with two 16-pane sash windows flanking a central 12-pane sash window; the right-hand sash is horned and probably a replacement. A 20th-century window is present in the gabled full dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
