Description

The Cats Whiskers is a shop with accommodation above, likely originally two houses, dating from the early 19th century. It features a slate-hung softwood frame and a cement-washed scantle slate roof with a rendered end stack on the right. The building is probably a pair of double-depth houses with a two-room plan, which was converted into a shop in the 20th century. The exterior is two storeys high with a regular two-window front, showcasing complete early 19th century 16-pane hornless sash windows, including two 16-pane sashes on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
