Description
This building is a garage shop located on Broad Street in Padstow, dating from around the mid-19th century. It features a stone rubble and rendered front with painted slate hung, likely from a timber frame, above the ground floor. The roof is slate with gable ends and has a brick stack on the right side. The building has a two-room double depth plan, with a shop on the ground floor and likely accommodation above, heated by the end stack on the right.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a regular two-window front, with a 19th-century shop front on the ground floor. The entrance is located to the left of the centre, with a possible entrance to an alley on the left side. Above the ground floor, the building is slate hung with painted rag slates, and it has two early 19th-century 12-pane sash windows with exposed sash boxes. The interior has not been inspected.
