Description

This is a mid-19th century shop with living accommodation above, located on Church Street, Liskeard. The front of the building is slatehung on a timber studwork frame, with an asbestos slate roof and a brick stack on the left side. It has a deep internal layout. The left side of the building is three storeys high, with a basement below, and features a symmetrical, single-window front. The windows are original four-pane hornless sashes set within moulded wooden architraves, with a single sash window on the second floor and paired sashes on the first floor. The original double shop front remains, with six-pane shop windows flanking a central doorway. The doorway has a pair of two-panel doors and a rectangular overlight. The interior has not been inspected.
