Description

Kerscowe Cottages is a house, originally a house and cottage, dating to around the late 18th century, with renovations in the 20th century. The exterior is of Flemish bond brick with a slate roof and gabled ends, featuring brick chimneys. The building is two storeys and has a symmetrical three-window facade. There are three steps leading up to a 19th-century six-panel central front door with a low, rectangular fanlight above. A doorway has been blocked on the left side of the front. The ground floor has two 19th or 20th century 16-pane sashes, and the first floor has three similar windows. Brick sills are present throughout, and the windows have horns. The interior has not been inspected. The property is listed for its group value and is situated within a good group of buildings on the west side of Fore Street.
