Description

Tree View Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The exterior is plastered and whitewashed, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The building has two storeys and a narrow front with one window. At the right end of the front, there is a six-panel front door. The ground floor features a 16-pane hornless sash window, both of which are situated under a fascia that may conceal some timber framing on the first floor. The first floor has a 16-pane horned sash window. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is part of a notable group of buildings along Fore Street and Old Post Office Hill, which adds to its significance.
