Description
The pound in St Day, located at SW 732 418, is a parish pound built in 1839 for Gwennap Parish. It is constructed from uncoursed rubble and has a circular plan measuring approximately 10 metres in diameter, with walls that stand about 3 metres high. The pound is now partly enclosed by attached modern sheds and is roofed with corrugated sheet.
