Description
No. 6 Alma Terrace is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It features scored stucco, likely over rubble, and has a scantle slate roof with brick chimneys. The house has a double-depth plan and is designed in a simple classical style. It stands two storeys high and has three bays, arranged symmetrically. The exterior includes rusticated quoins and a band at the first floor. The central doorway is framed by a reeded architrave and has a recessed panelled door with a panelled reveal; it was once protected by a cornice that is now missing, as of 1988. There are two 12-pane sash windows on each floor, all with raised sills. The ground floor windows have internal shutters, and there is a blind window above the door. The roof is hipped with chimneys on the side walls. The interior has not been inspected. This house forms a group with No. 8 to the right.
