Description

This is a boundary stone located in Gwennap, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is made of dressed granite and has a square shape with chamfered corners and a rounded top. The north face features a deeply incised inscription that includes a Roman letter "E" above the Arabic numeral "5". Once common, these boundary stones have become rare, making this one a late example.
