Description

The boundary stone located at SW 729404 SW is a Grade II listed tin boundary stone, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of dressed granite and has a square shape with chamfered corners and rounded corners at the top. The south-west face features a deeply incised inscription, displaying a Roman letter "E" above the Arabic numeral "1". Once common, these boundary stones have become rare, making this one a late example of its kind.
