Description
Alma House is a house located on Carharrack Church Road, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared killas rubble, featuring granite quoins and dressings, with part of the exterior slate-hung and a scantle slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with three bays, presenting a symmetrical facade. The ground floor includes a coved niche flanked by 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has a 12-pane sash window above the door, which is flanked by 16-pane sashes. The roof is hipped, and there is a chimney on the right-hand side wall. The right-hand return wall features an altered doorway at ground level and is slate hung at the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. Alma House forms a group with No. 6 to the left.
