Description
Homely is a house dating from the early 18th century, with a remodel that occurred in the early 19th century. It features a roughly coursed granite front, while the rest of the building is constructed from rubble. The roof is covered with asbestos slate and has heightened eaves added in the early 19th century, along with tall coursed granite stacks at the gable ends. The house has a two-room plan and additional rear lean-tos. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window south front with a central doorway. Originally, the house had a five-window front, and the current window openings on the left and right are positioned midway between the now-blocked original openings. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have 20th-century floors and roof structure.
