Description

This is a boundary stone made of roughly squared granite, dating from the early 19th century. It is a tin boundary stone that is partly buried and has eroded over time. The stone features an incised inscription with serifs, which faces east at the junction of the lane and the west side. These stones were once common and marked the boundaries between mineral rights claims.
