Description

The Manor Pound is a pound dating from the early 19th century, possibly a rebuilding of an earlier pound. It is constructed of slatestone rubble and features a square walled compound with a wide central entrance on the south side. The walls are original and have not been repointed, although they are partly covered in ivy. The interior is partly roofed with 20th-century lean-to structures. This pound is believed to have belonged to the medieval manor of Trevilla, which was associated with Tregear Manor in Veryan and Glasney College at Penryn.
