Description

The Old Farmhouse is a circa late 18th-century farmhouse situated in Feock. It is constructed of painted slatestone rubble and cob, with a steeply pitched asbestos slate roof, originally thatched, and brick chimneys over the gable ends. The farmhouse has a double-depth plan, featuring a front room on either side of an entrance hall which contains stairs, and smaller service rooms at the rear. The south front is symmetrical, with two windows arranged centrally. The windows are 20th-century replacements. A central doorway is accessed via a 20th-century porch. The interior is reportedly largely unaltered. The building is included on the list for its group value.
