Description

Pound located about 120 yards east-south-east of the Church of St Lawrence, likely dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed sandstone rubble with flat sandstone capping. The structure has a rectangular plan aligned north-west to south-east, with walls approximately 4 feet 6 inches high. There is an entry at the south end of the north-west wall. The pound is situated on a mound.
