Description
This building is a barn and an adjoining structure, likely a shippon, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features slurried scantle slate roofs, with a three-quarter hipped roof over the barn and a gable end on the right side of the shippon.
The layout consists of a rectangular plan, with the shippon on the left having a granary above it, and an integral single-storey shippon on the right. The north-west front has two storeys on the barn side, which includes a doorway on the right and a window on the left. There is a central loading or winnowing doorway on the first floor, with a corresponding doorway in the rear wall, along with small windows on either side. The shippon on the right features a doorway towards the left, a small window to the right of the middle, and a ventilator on the left. The doors are ledged, and there are some old windows present. The interior has not been inspected.
