Description

This building, likely a fuel store with an attached earth closet, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with brick dressings around the earth closet. The roof is made of grouted scantle slate and features gable ends.

The building has a rectangular single-cell plan, with a later 19th-century lean-to earth closet at one end. It is a single storey, and the east-north east front has a doorway on the left and another doorway leading to the lean-to on the right, both featuring ledged doors.

This structure is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet situated within the ancient field system of this area of Cornwall.
