Description

ST LEVAN ARDENSAWAH SW 32 SE 7/182 Earth-closets and storage rooms - immediately behind Ardensawah Cottages GV II Earth closets and storage rooms. Circa late C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with gable ends. Original red clay ridge tiles. Plan: Rectangular building with earth-closet at either end and 4 storage rooms (or possibly stables) between. Exterior: Long low single storey south west front with 6 doorways. The earth-closet doorways are at far left and right, the other doorways are on the left-hand side of their rooms. Interior: Simple lime-washed interiors. The earth-closets have their original wooden seats with lids.
