Description
This is a wash house located immediately west of Raftra Old Farmhouse, dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof, topped with a brick chimney at the right-hand end. The building has a small single-cell rectangular plan. On the southeast front, there is a window opening on the left that contains a 20th-century window, and a doorway on the right with an old ledged door. Inside has not been inspected, but there is an old granite trough situated under the window.
