Description
Trewey Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around the early 19th century. The front is finished in stucco, while the rest of the building is made of granite rubble. It has a grouted scantle slate half-hipped roof with slightly projecting eaves at the front, and brick chimneys on the side walls. The layout is a double depth plan, featuring two rooms at the front that flank an entrance hall, which leads to a stair hall situated between the rear service rooms. There is a small outhouse extension on the left and an extension at right angles in front. The farmhouse is two storeys tall and has a nearly symmetrical three-window south front with a doorway that is central to the windows. The door is a 20th-century six-panel design, while the original windows are 16-pane hornless sashes, with some original sashes also present at the rear. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to retain most of its original features.
