Description

ST BURYAN BOTTOMS SW 32 SE 7/87 Bosfranken Bottoms - GV II Small house. One gable end is the remains of a C18 house, the rest is circa early C19. Painted granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roofs. Steep gable end on the left with dressed granite chimney. Brick chimney over external rubble stack on the right. Plan: 2 room plan. Small parlour on the left and kitchen/living room on the right with lobby entrance between leading to projecting stair outshut at rear. At right angles in front on the right is a single-storey outhouse, left-hand gable end of the house survives from an older house which was adjoining on the left (now ruinous). Exterior: 2 storeys. Slightly asymmetrical 2 window south west front with doorway central to fenestration. First floor windows are closer together. C20 door. Circa late-Cl9 4-pane horned sashes. Interior not inspected.
