Description

The schoolhouse of St Levan County Primary School, built in 1849, is constructed from granite rubble with rusticated granite dressings and features asbestos slate roofs with gable ends. The building has an L-shaped plan, likely with a former living room in the projecting wing on the left, a service room behind it, and a parlour on the right, with an entrance lobby and stair located between these spaces. The southeast front has a regular arrangement of two windows and includes a projecting gable end on the left with central windows. There is a central doorway, which is set back in the angle and enclosed by a 20th-century porch, and a window with another window above it on the right. The left side features 12-pane, 2-light casements, while the right side may have original latticed casements. The interior has not been inspected.
