Description

The stables, cartshed, and calf house, located immediately northwest of Tresidder Farmhouse, date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and feature grouted scantle slate hipped roofs, except for the gable end at the rear of the calf house. The overall layout is L-shaped, with a range of stables at the front, a cartshed behind on the left side with its doorway on the right, and a narrow range of calf pens behind the left side of the cartshed.

The building is single storey. The stables have a symmetrical two-window front facing west, with a central doorway and additional doorways on either side. The doors and windows are old, featuring top lights, and there is a splayed corner on the right. The cartshed and calf house have south-facing fronts, with the cartshed projecting at the angle between the rear of the stables and the calf house. The cartshed has a wide doorway, while the calf house has a two-window front with alternating doorways and windows, also featuring old ledged doors. The interior has not been inspected.
