Description

ST BURYAN TRESIDDER SW 42 NW 7/155 Stables, cartshed and calf house - immediately north west of Tresidder Farmhouse GV II Stables, cartshed and calf house. Circa mid C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate hipped roofs except gable end at rear of calf house. Plan: Overall L-shaped plan. Range of stables at the front; cartshed behind the left-hand side with its doorway on the right and narrow range of calf pens behind the left-hand side of the cartshed. Exterior: Single storey. Stables have symmetrical 2-window west front with central doorway and doorways at left and right. Old ledged doors and old windows with top lights. Splayed corner on the right. Cartshed and calf house have south fronts. Cartshed projects in the angle between the rear of the stables and the calf house. Wide doorway. Calf house has 2-window front with alternate doorways and windows. Old ledged doors. Interior not inspected.
