Description

This guide post, located in St Buryan, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of dressed granite and has round-headed sides, with a triangular shape when viewed from above. The inscriptions on the post have become eroded over time but were repainted in the 20th century. The left side of the post reads "ST BURYAN PENZANCE," while the right side states "LAMORNA NEWLYN." Both faces of the guide post feature arrow pointers.
