Description

The mounting block located immediately east of Burnewhall Farmhouse is likely from around 1849, the same date as the farmhouse. It is constructed of granite rubble and features monolithic steps. The block has a rectangular plan and consists of a simple four-step design, with the top step being shallow and serving as a landing.
