Description

The clapper bridge in front of Jeffery's Cottage is a footbridge, likely dating from the 17th century. It is constructed from unhewn granite monoliths and granite rubble. The bridge features three spans, with a single granite lintel forming each span. It remains complete and unaltered, making it the only known example of a true clapper bridge in West Cornwall.
