Description

The guide stone located at the junction of the A3071 and B3306, just north of the cemetery, dates back to 1836. It is a painted granite block approximately 4 feet high, featuring round-headed sides. The stone has carved pointing hands set in oval panels, with incised lettering below that reads "To Penzance 6½ miles. AD 1836" and "To St Buryan 5 miles, To Lands End 6 miles."
