Description

The guide stone, located opposite the junction of Turnpike Road and A3071, dates from 1833. It is made of granite and stands about 4 feet high. The stone features inscribed and printed lettering along with pointing hands. On two sides, it is inscribed with "Penzance Direct Road AD 1833" and "To Sancreed Church Town and Paul."
