The Star Inn is a building located on Fore Street, dating from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed from coursed granite blocks and features a steep slate roof with gable ends. The inn is low, with two storeys. The ground floor has four windows, including a wide five-light double-hung sash window without glazing bars, while the first floor has small double-hung sashes, also without glazing bars. There is a central doorway with mounting steps at one end of the facade on the pavement. The Star Inn, along with Nos 2 to 15, forms a group of buildings.
