Description

Penlee is an early 19th-century house located on Market Street. The building is rendered and features a slurried slate hipped roof with wide eaves. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows, which are set in recessed architraves and are sashes with glazing bars. A string course runs along the building, and there is a central pilastered doorway topped with an entablature. The door is recessed and includes a rectangular fanlight. On the side facing Market Square, there are two additional windows, also sashes with glazing bars, in recessed architraves.
