Description

Whitway House is an early 19th-century building located on Winchester Road in Burghclere. It features a symmetrical front on the west side, consisting of two storeys and three windows. The house has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with wide eaves. The walls are rendered and include an eaves fascia, which is connected to quoins at the sides of the openings. There is a band at the first floor, additional quoins, and a keystone above the doorway, as well as a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals. The entrance has a reeded doorframe with angle blocks, topped by a thin pediment, and it includes a modern door.
