Description
The stables and cartshed located immediately southwest of Tremedda Farmhouse date from the late 19th century. They are constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and feature a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan that includes two stables or loose boxes on the left and in the middle, with an integral cartshed on the right. There is a later lean-to cartshed on the far right and possibly a tack room lean-to in front of the left side. The structure is single storey, with doorways at the front (east) and ventilator windows at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set within the ancient field system of this area of Cornwall.
