Description

This is a disused house from the 18th century located in Zennor, Cornwall. It is constructed of coursed granite rubble with granite dressings and features a slurried scantle slate roof, which has a chimney stump on the right-hand gable end. The house has a two-room plan with a central lobby entrance. The eaves were raised in the 19th century, and there is a later lean-to addition at the rear right corner. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with two window openings on the south-west side. The first-floor openings are from the 19th century and are positioned over original blocked openings. The house is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set within the ancient field system of this area in Cornwall.
