Description
This barn, located immediately north of Tolcarne Wartha Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid-19th century and is likely a hayloft or granary above a shippon. It features granite rubble walls with granite dressing and a dry Delabole slate roof with gable ends. The barn has a long rectangular plan, built end-on to the slope. It is two storeys high, with the south front having one window, a doorway to the left of the middle, and a window on the left with another window above it. A 20th-century addition obscures part of the right-hand side. The rear has a ground floor doorway to the left of the middle and an approximately central first floor loading doorway. The interior has not been inspected.
