Description

This milestone, dating from around the mid-19th century, is a painted dressed granite monolith featuring a pyramidal head. It has a triangular shaft that sits on a square base. The two inscribed faces emerge from large pyramid stops. The left side of the milestone has the inscription "REDRUTH 4 MILES," while the right side reads "HELSTON 6 MILES."
