Description
These are a pair of cottages, or possibly a farmhouse with an added cottage, located on the east side of the lane opposite Home Farm in Camborne. They were likely built in the early to mid 19th century and are constructed from uncoursed rubble with granite quoins and a scantle slate roof. The cottages have a rectangular single-depth plan with lean-to additions at the rear.
The building stands two storeys high and features three bays on the larger side to the left, which includes a central doorway, two square 4-pane sash windows on the ground floor, and three taller 4-pane sashes above. The smaller cottage to the right has a doorway with a 4-panel door near the junction, one 16-pane unhorned sash window to the right, and two above. All the windows have exposed boxes, and every opening is framed with quoined surrounds and rectangular lintels. There are chimneys at both gables and on the ridge at the junction. The rear of the building has single-storey lean-to additions and a small window above. The interior has not been inspected.
