Description

CAMBORNE BOLENOWE SW 63 NE 8/23 Cottages on east side of lane opposite Home Farm II Pair of cottages, or farmhouse with added cottage. Probably early to mid C19. Uncoursed rubble with granite quoins, scantle slate roof. Rectangular single-depth plan, with lean-to additions to rear. Two storeys and 3+2 bays; the larger element to the left has a central doorway, 2 square 4- pane sashed windows at ground floor and 3 taller 4-pane sashes above; the cottage to the right has a doorway with 4-panel door next to the junction, one 16-pane unhorned sashed window to the right and 2 above; all these windows have exposed boxes, and all openings have quoined surrounds and rectangular lintels. Chimneys at both gables and onthe ridge at the junction. Rear has single-storey lean-to additions, and a small window above. interior not inspected.
