Description
Bolenowe Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of uncoursed rubble with granite quoins, and the facade is painted white. The roof is covered with slurried slate, and there are brick chimneys. The building has a rectangular double-depth plan with four rooms and features a lean-to addition at the right-hand end. It stands two storeys high and has two bays that are almost symmetrical. The central doorway has a plain surround and a recessed door that has been altered. There are two 12-pane sashed windows on each floor, all with raised sills and exposed boxes; the left window on the ground floor is unhorned. The gable ends have chimneys, and the large full-height lean-to at the right-hand end has two altered windows in its side wall. The interior of the farmhouse has seen little alteration.
