Description

The footbridge over the River Cober, built around the early 19th century, features granite rubble and roughly-hewn granite monoliths used as lintels. This small two-span bridge has a primitive lintelled construction and is set diagonally across the stream. It is equipped with iron railings that are threaded through iron stanchions positioned between the terminal granite monoliths on either side of the bridge.
