Description

Wheal Rock chimney, dating from around the mid 19th century, was formerly used for tin mine workings. The structure features granite rubble in the lower stage, with polychrome bands of brickwork in the upper stage, which is topped by a moulded brick collar. The chimney is round in plan and tapers upwards, with the lower stage being taller. The upper stage has a slight fall at the top.
