Description

This guide post, dating from the early 20th century, is made of cast iron. It features a round shaft topped with three adjustable pointers, which sit above a moulded collar and are capped with a moulded conical finial. The pointers have canted ends and display embossed inscriptions. The left-hand (west) pointer indicates "FOUR LANES 2½ CAMBORNE 6," the middle pointer reads "RAME 2 PENRYN 6," and the right-hand pointer shows "STITHIANS 3 REDRUTH 4½."
