This guide post, dating from the late 19th century, is made of cast iron and features a round shaft. The shaft has embossed letters and three adjustable pointers, each with rounded corners, secured by bolted collars above a moulded cornice. The collars are topped with a moulded finial that has a spearhead design. The shaft is inscribed vertically with the word "CORNWALL."
