Description

This is a milk stand, dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and has a rectangular shape. The front features a granite monolithic plinth that supports four irregularly sized, roughly-hewn granite slabs, which make up the working platform. This type of structure was once common in Cornwall, and this is one of the few older examples that still exist.
