Guide post. Circa late C19. Manufactured by Visick and Sons, Devoran. Cast iron. Round-on-plan fluted shaft surmounted by bracketted round hub or collars to which are bolted 3 pointers and capped by a moulded and ogee-headed finial. Pointers are attached by their lower corners and have rounded corners and embossed inscriptions. Left-hand (west) pointer inscription: STITHIANS 3 REDRUTH 4½ CAMBORNE 6 FOURLANES 6 Middle pointer inscription: PORKELLIS 1½ HELSTON 6 Right-hand pointer inscription: RAME 2 PENRYN 6
