Description
This is a stone milestone from the early 19th century, set into the later garden wall of Menherion House, located on the west side of the road, north of Gwealeath. The front of the milestone stands approximately 0.95 meters high and features a shallow arched top. The inscription, presented in upper-case serif letters, reads: 'REDRUTH / 3 ¼ / CARN / MENELLIS / 1 / HELSTON / 7 ½', with the lettering highlighted in black paint.
