Description

This milestone, dating from the early 19th century, is a painted granite monolith with a triangular head and a rectangular plan. It features an incised inscription on the front, which includes an old Ordnance Survey bench mark. The inscription reads: "HELSTON 6 CARN MENELLIS ½ REDRUTH 4."
