Description
This milestone, dating from around the mid-19th century, is a painted dressed granite monolith featuring a pyramidal head. The shaft is triangular in shape and sits on a square base. The two inscribed sides rise from large pyramid stops. The left-hand side has the inscription "REDRUTH 6 MILES," while the right-hand side reads "HELSTON 4 MILES."
