Description

This milestone, dating from around the mid-19th century, is made of painted dressed granite and features a pyramidal head. The shaft is triangular in shape and sits atop a square base. Two sides of the milestone are inscribed, with the left side stating "REDRUTH 8 MILES" and the right side stating "HELSTON 2". The inscribed sides rise over large pyramid stops.
