Description
Wheal Ann Engine House is a beam-engine house built in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed from killas and granite rubble, featuring granite dressings. The building has a rectangular one-room plan with a thicker front bob wall. It stands three storeys high above a basement plinth. The elevations remain largely unaltered, although some masonry has fallen from around some of the openings. The front wall has a central doorway, while the rear gable wall includes a central opening on each floor. The interior has had its machinery, floors, and roof removed.
